Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie

A refreshing and light smoothie made with only fruit and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of whole strawberries stems removed, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • A small ripe banana
  • 1/2-1 cup of pineapple juice 100% juice please or water
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional

Instructions

  • Add the banana, strawberries, pineapple, and cayenne (if using) to the blender.
  • Pour in 1/2 a cup (see notes) of pineapple juice and blend until smooth and creamy. 
  • Continue to add additional pineapple juice or water to get the consistency you desire.

Notes

If your fruit is frozen, additional juice or water will be required for blending.
Allow the frozen fruit to thaw for 2 hours to overnight if you'd like to use less pineapple juice.
