The Teddy Graham Latte has been popping up all over TikTok lately, and I knew I needed to try it.

After one hot mug, I see what all the buzz is about! This latte tastes just like a toasted graham cracker, with sweet honey, toasty brown sugar, and a little touch of cinnamon.

I made mine with oat milk for an extra bit of nuttiness and whole grain flavor, but you can use any milk you like! I love how versatile this latte recipe is, surprisingly quick to make. It’s so cozy, which is great while enduring cold New England weather.

Ingredients

Full ingredient amounts and step-by-step instructions can be found on the recipe card at the bottom of the post.

Cup of coffee, jar of milk, and bowls containing ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and honey on a white surface.
  • Espresso or Very Strong Coffee
  • Honey
  • Brown Sugar- light or dark works in this recipe.
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch Of Salt
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Milk of your choice (oat milk is a standout!)

Instructions

Step 1:

Overhead view of a glass with a partially melted frozen coffee ball and liquid inside, placed on a white surface near a jar and another container.

Add honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to a heatproof cup.

Step 2:

Glass of iced coffee with a wooden stirrer sits on a counter. A jar of milk and a bowl of Teddy Grahams are in the background.

Brew hot coffee over the honey and sugar mixture, stir until the coffee dissolves the brown sugar. Add a few drops of vanilla to the espresso mixture.

Iced Teddy Graham Latte

In a tall glass, pour the milk over ice cubes and leave enough room for the espresso mixture. Pour the espresso and honey mixture over the ice and milk, stir, and taste. Add a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish.

Hot Latte

Warm the milk for 1 minute in the microwave or on the stovetop until just steaming, but not boiling.

Pour the warm milk into a large mug and add in the expresso mixture. Stir and enjoy!

Top Tip

Stir the cinnamon into the hot coffee or espresso first. It makes the flavor in the cinnamon come out more!

Pro Tips For The Best Graham Cracker Latte

  • Adjust for Ice: Ice cubes can mute the honey flavor a little. Add an extra drizzle to the top or adjust the amount of honey to match the sweetness you like!.
  • Find Your Sweet Spot: Play around with the amount of cinnamon, honey, and brown sugar to suit your taste. You’re aiming for a latte that tastes just like toasted honey graham crackers. You can even sprinkle graham cracker crumbs or crushed Teddy Grahams on top!
  • Coffee Strength: 1/2 a cup to 3/4 of a cup of coffee is a good starting point for this latte. You can always add an extra shot of espresso if you want it stronger! This recipe is made for a double shot of espresso.
  • Make Ahead: Make a big batch of lattes and keep it in the fridge for the week! Pour the mixture over ice or warm it up!

Variations and Substitutions

  • Coffee– If you don’t have an espresso maker, use strong hot coffee instead, or prepared instant espresso!
  • Brown Sugar: Use brown sugar syrup, vanilla syrup, sugar cookie syrup, or sugar free brown sugar in place of regular brown sugar.
  • Honey: Pure maple syrup can be swapped for the honey. Maple syrup lattes are so delicious!
  • Milk: Whole, skim, almond, oat, and coconut milk all work. I like using oat milk because it adds a touch of that whole grain flavor you find in toasted graham crackers.
  • Caffeine-Free: Use decaf espresso or coffee for a relaxed treat any time of day.

  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 2 drops of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of milk any kind

  • Brew espresso or pour hot coffee over the top of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.

Notes

  • If you like your latte strong, brew a double espresso or use 3/4 cup of strong coffee. For a milder coffee flavor, 1/2 a cup is perfect, and you can always add more if necessary.
  • Ice mutes the flavor of the honey; you may need to add a drizzle of extra honey or cinnamon to the top of your iced latte.
